FAHD & NAHALA - THE ROYAL RECEPTION AT THE LEELA PALACE

It was an absolute delight to cover the royal reception of Fahd & Nahala at the Grand venue of The Leela Palace, Chennai.

As wedding photographers, we get little time in the given space to create shots which stand out from the rest. We are really blessed to have clients like Fahd and Nahala who planned their reception so well and provided us the necessary time during their getting ready and couple shoot to achieve some amazing shots!

The couple and the guests were full of energy and we simply enjoyed capturing their real emotions!

Thanks A-Cube Project for the amazing decor. You created a Visual Treat for all of us!

SIDDHANT & SUNITA - A golden morning Light maternity session on the beach side of Taj Fisherman Cove, Chennai

Being pregnant is one of the most beautiful phase in the entire journey of being a woman. To celebrate this what better gift can you give to your wife but hire a professional for her beautiful maternity shoot. Siddhant exactly did the same and the much needed enthusiasm which came from Sunita has done true justice to the shoot. They chose Vivanta by Taj, Fisherman's Cove for their babymoon / maternity shoot which is one of the most Luxury Seaside Resort in Chennai and is known for its rustic vintage feel. The open private beach and garden was an added advantage for us!

We are really excited to share their amazing maternity shoot and we wish them all the best for the little one!.

PAVITHRA & SRIDHARAN - THE LOVE STORY OF HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS

A decade long love story whose second chapter started with a bang ! Pavithra & Sridharan are high school sweethearts who began their journey full of excitement and hope. They didn’t know each other much, which is why when he proposed and she said yes, it took many by surprise. Although going to different cities after school, the distance didn’t stop them from falling for each other even more. There were many ups and downs, but nothing mattered when they met each other after being apart for weeks. A lot of travel in the ten long years, a lot of patience and a lot more love, every passing day.

They followed their dreams together, in every way possible, filled it with lots of love and laughter, and soon realised their story needed a ‘happily ever after’. Even though it was a long awaited wedding, it got fixed rather quickly and they had only 5 months to plan the wedding. Two beautiful families coming together, wishing their kids all the happiness in the world. Pavithra and Sridharan, starting the next chapter, in the city the grew up in, surrounded by people they love!

Let's witness their celebration from the beautiful venue of Raghavendra kalyana mandapam, Chennai.

The wedding venue Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar (MRC) Hall is one of the premium halls in Chennai located at M R C Nagar. With ample space and clean long galleries around the hall, MRC has been one of our favorite wedding venues in Chennai. The vibrant decor was definitely the cherry on the cake to make this Marwari wedding a gorgeous one!

Significance of the Mehandi Ceremony in Indian Weddings! http://www.rohanmishraphotography.com/blog/2017/9/mehandi-ceremony-in-indian-weddings "Mehandi Ceremony in an Indian Wedding"Significance of the Mehandi Ceremony in an Indian Wedding!Importance of the Mehandi Ceremony before a wedding and what is the significance of the ritual.

THE MEHENDI BASH!

The beauty of an Indian wedding is highlighted through numerous traditions and the most prominent of all is the Mehendi ceremony. Wedding Mehendi is that special ingredient which adds immense flavour to the wedding platter! The elaborate patterns of the Mehendi, relatives, friends, music, laughter, food and a lot of fun, makes this ceremony extremely festive. While the bride, groom, family and friends are lost into the high spirits of the occasion, we put our best foot forward in capturing this pre wedding extravaganza with utmost creativity.
Mehendi represents the bond of matrimony and is therefore, considered a shagun (sign of good luck). It signifies the love and affection between the couple and their families.
Here are some popular beliefs associated with this tradition:
The darkness of the mehendi colour on a bride’s hand represents the deep love between the couple.
The mehendi's colour also shows the love and understanding between the bride and her mother-in-law.
The longer the mehendi retains its colour, the more auspicious it is for the newlyweds.
Mehendi is also deemed to be a symbolic representation of fertility.

Mehendi is also known for its medicinal benefits:

Mehendi helps cooling down and aids in soothing stress, headaches and fever. That's one of the reasons why mehendi is applied before the wedding to relieve the wedding stress of the bride and the groom.
It also helps protecting the couple from any viral diseases before the wedding.

Here are some of our most loved mehendi ceremony shots.

Haldi ceremony is the most sort after the ceremony for us photographers as it's a riot of colors, emotions, and flavors. In this, the families indulge in playing holi with haldi and paint the Bride and the Groom yellow with this auspicious spice. It is mainly performed to ward off any bad omen that might harm the couple before the wedding. With full enthusiasm and excitement, each and every family member participates in this ceremony to bless the couple. The glow of the bride and groom and the aura of the yellow hue make this ritual an absolute delight for us to shoot!

Spanish Wine meets Indian Beer! http://www.rohanmishraphotography.com/blog/2017/8/Spanish-Indian-cross-country-engagement-Chennai "Destination-wedding-photographer-chennai"Spanish Wine meets Indian Beer! The cross country - Indian Spanish love story of Jaime and Shreya

SPANISH WINE MEETS INDIAN BEER!

Somebody has correctly said that the purity of love can never be diluted by caste, creed, culture or place. Such is the love story of Jamie and Shreya.  Driven by their passion, both Jaime & Shreya flew to New York to pursue their dreams. Shreya went to Parson, The New School for Design to pursue Graphic Design and Jamie went to New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York.

Now comes the interesting part… The “Jab we met” moment: Even though we Indian's are pretty good at English as part of our professional communication, it was mandatory for Jaime & Shreya to take one English class at school and that's where they met! Jamie used all his charm to lure Shreya and he not only succeeded in winning her alone but her family too.

Their 4 year long relationship is now all set to experience a new chapter which is marriage. So before they get married in Spain, Shreya wanted to celebrate their love and togetherness here in Chennai and she chose us to be her storyteller.

P.S. The decor was entirely done by Shreya and her mom. Shreya’s Mom being an interior designer and Shreya being a graphic designer, decided to handpick the details and style the venue themselves.
Even the bar setup was really unique and was styled by Shreya’s Dad, Mr. Nagesh Reddy, the owner of one of the happening bar in Chennai - 10 Downing street (10D).

Enjoy the party!

5 TIPS FOR GREAT GROOM GETTING READY PHOTOS! http://www.rohanmishraphotography.com/blog/2017/7/5-TIPS-FOR-GREAT-GROOM-GETTING-READY-PHOTOS "Wedding photography tips for groom getting ready"It's about the groom too!Groom getting ready photography tips

Traditionally, the role of the bride is more predominant than that of the groom when it comes to overall wedding preparations. The bride’s preparations and getting ready has a lot of content but that does not imply that the groom’s getting ready shots are in any way less important.

There are two people joining together hence they both deserve an equal representation as possible. There is an immense scope of capturing his wedding day attire right from his clothes to his accessories and the related emotions. After all, the fond memories of the wedding day need to be preserved for both the bride and the groom and it should be available to both of them whenever they want to sit together and reminisce about those moments.

We lay great amount of importance to this fact and have thus captured our brilliant grooms while they were getting ready for their BIG day.

Here are few tips to create some great groom getting ready:

IDENTIFY THE CLOSEST PEOPLE

Find out who are the people closest to the groom are so that you can capture the intimate moments with those people during groom’s prep.

Photo by: Rohan Mishra Photography (www.rohanmishraphotography.com) Also, ensure that someone close is available to help the groom during his getting ready session.
CREATE A STORY FOR THE ALBUM

Direct the groom in the order we need to design the layout for the albums.
Start with the regular ones like buttoning the shirt, buckling the belt, getting the shoes one, etc to warm up and start thinking creatively after you are done with the safe shots!

Photo by: Rohan Mishra Photography (www.rohanmishraphotography.com) LOOK FOR THE BEST LIGHT

Look for Natural light when possible and pose the groom strategically to get different looks.

Photo by: Rohan Mishra Photography (www.rohanmishraphotography.com) TRY DIFFERENT ANGLES

Experiment with different angles and point of view to get some creative shots!

DON'T HESITATE TO TRY ARTIFICIAL LIGHT

Try flash or video light to get that dramatic effect.

Two bodies, One Soul!

Well, this is one couple for which this title came into my mind the day we had met them for the very first time. Sometimes we feel blessed to be in such a profession where we get to encounter the purity of love that too in it's purest form. And Rahul & Sanjana are the best example of Pure Love!

We chose Sea link and Marine drive for the pre-wedding shoot for its contemporary look and absolutely fell in love with the final results. Sanjana and Rahul were absolute fun to shoot. They were even able to arrange a small slot for us to shoot at the beautiful location of Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.

Moreover, just to showcase their Pure Love in its supreme glory, we had challenged ourselves by experimenting with new Photography techniques. Take a look to experience the beauty!

Two bodies, One Soul!

A few days back we had shared the beautiful Love Story of Rahul and Sanjana. Now we bring you their Grand Wedding Story! where Sanjana looked nothing short of her Daddy's little angel who is now all grown up and ready to take on the beautiful life with her Prince Charming Rahul.

The celebration started with the Mehandi ceremony along with some close family members followed by some great performances at Sangeet celebration but our personal favorite was the gorgeous Konkani wedding where each and every detail was selected with utmost care. We absolutely enjoyed capturing the beautiful and vibrant celebration. Have a look!

HOW WE SHOT IT - Tips & Tricks to improve your wedding photography http://www.rohanmishraphotography.com/blog/2017/6/tips-to-improve-your-wedding-photography "Wedding photography tips"Tips to improve your wedding photographyTechniques used by us to achieve the quality, creativity, and effects in our photography.

The journey of a photographer from being a hobbyist to a professional relies totally on their learning and practicing them in real time scenarios. Mastering your gear and learning new techniques will help you achieve results which can blow away your clients. We are often asked about how we got a particular shot and the technique used to achieve it. Therefore, we thought of coming up with a blog which will talk about some of the techniques used by us to create something different for our clients. Happy Clicking!

Light Sandwitching (That's what I call it!)

Let's consider a scenario:

1. Night Time
2. Dimly lit - Mostly candles or lanterns
3. No option to bounce light
4. Outdoors

Yes, it's one of the most difficult situation to shoot in and believe me, we can still get some great shots in this scenario.
This is what I do:

1. Set the camera to a higher ISO (Around ISO 1600)
2. Drop the shutter speed to around 125 or 160 of a second. Always remember, slower shutter speed brings back some ambient light and flash freezes the action. You can try slower shutter speed to get some creative effects.
3. Sandwitch the subject using the key light (On camera flash) and rim light (Back light/ side light) to bring them out from the background.
4. The key here is to keep the back light at a lower power and directional to avoid the light spill.

Motion capture is a technique where the movement of the objects or people is recorded. Here we had first separated the couple and then asked the bride-to-be to walk towards the groom-to-be where we captured the action with multiple frames per second. Through this technique, we just wanted to capture the amazing chemistry of the couple in LOVE.

Creating Tension

Often we are asked how do we get the expressions right? Well, there are some simple techniques and one of them is what you see here. We decided to play a quick game with the couple. We had asked Rishi to hold Nikita from the waist and pull towards him and in reciprocation, we had told Nikita to not to give in and apply force in the opposite direction. And you can yourself see the amazing results we have got.

Silhouette

In order to shoot a silhouette, you just need to play with your camera a bit. Let the camera meter off the sky and not the subject. Begin with pointing your camera at the brightest part of your frame – but not directly into the sun – and press the shutter halfway down. Then, while you’re holding the shutter half way down, recompose your image and take the photo.

In order to avail the clearest silhouette photo, you should ideally shoot in manual, so you can choose the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO as per your requirement and not let the camera do so.

Another alternative measure is to use the exposure compensation feature on your camera when in Aperture priority mode to achieve the desired result. Reason being, exposure compensation gives you the ability to instruct your camera to allow more light in or less light in. Usually, to shoot silhouettes you’ll have to shuffle your setting between -1 to -3 EV (exposure value), but be careful as you might have to experiment with the value to see what works best for the situation.

USE DISTORTION

Using a distortion in your favor is also an Art. Sometimes distortion can add to the photo so much, so try moving the lens about and see how it affects the lines along the edges or distorts objects in the foreground.

FRAME THE SHOT

The world of wide angle lens can be sensed only when you see it through the viewfinder. If used effectively this lens can be considered as the most creative lens available in the market. For instance, In the shot below the height of the pillar was slightly above 5 feet but to get this perspective I decided to sit down and shoot. I made sure the couple is placed in the center so that the distortion is restricted only to the pillars giving us an illusion of it being a bigger in height.  Hence framing a shot correctly is equally important when shooting with wide angle lens.

Multiple Exposure

One of the most experimental technique is the in-camera double exposure. You can do wonders with this technique as it gives a free hand to the photographers to create some unique and inspiring shots. The method of overlaying images on top of each other, you could shape an image of nature into the silhouette of a person (like this one), stitch different urban scenes into one image, and even produce avant-garde and dreamlike photographs.

This is why nowadays more digital cameras offer a multiple exposure mode, allowing shooters (like yourself) to create double exposures without relying on Photoshop.

0ff camera flash with lens flare!

Usage of Off camera flash is a photographer’s treat. To build levels of dimension by using a backlight to separate the subject from the background. By allowing a little gap between the couple’s face, it will give the right amount of flare to pop up which will add the required drama.

Exif: NIKON D800, F-stop: f/11, Exposure time: 1/250 sec, ISO: 100, Exposure bias: 0 step, Focal Length: 70 mm

Chennai-Couple-ShootChennai-Couple-ShootChennai-Couple-Shoot

0ff camera flash!

Another way of using a flash is to manipulate your lighting to create a silhouette even during the getting ready session. Just put a flash right behind the subject to bring out the hair spray against a dark background.

Exif: NIKON D800, F-stop: f/2.8, Exposure time: 1/200 sec, ISO: 100, Exposure bias: 0 step, Focal Length: 50 mm

Go Wide! Go VERTICAL! get a different perspective

Whenever we talk about wide shots the first thing which strikes us is a horizontal image whereas if we try to shoot vertically even that can produce some unique perspectives for that extra drama.

Tall buildings can be captured in totality, for instance, or a feet-to-sky perspective can be achieved. The concern of distorting vertical lines along the edge of your frame can be a problem, but the results can also be quite striking.

We have used the same technique to capture the real beauty of the ambiance in full glory and embellished it with the love of the couple.

Exif: NIKON D810, F-stop: f/5.6, Exposure time: 1/200 sec, ISO: 100, Exposure bias: 0 step, Focal Length: 24mm

An Interesting foreground

As wide-angle lenses capture more of the scene, it is a good idea to make sure there is something interesting in the foreground for the viewer to look at and which ultimately leads into the subject. So here we have used the combination of two amazing techniques i.e. silhouette and usage of an interesting foreground.

Exif: NIKON D800, F-stop: f/4, Exposure time: 1/2500 sec, ISO: 400, Exposure bias: 0 step, Focal Length: 24 mm

Combining any two photography techniques will always give some incredible results like this one. Here we have used the technique of ‘Leading lines’ combined with the usage of an interesting foreground.

Exif: NIKON D810, F-stop: f/4, Exposure time: 1/800 sec, ISO: 400, Exposure bias: 0 step, Focal Length: 24 mm

Dramatic Lighting

To create a drama we have underexposed the background and have lit the couple with the help of an off-camera flash.

Exif: NIKON D3100, F-stop: f/16, Exposure time: 1/ 200 sec, ISO: 100, Exposure bias: 0 step, Focal Length: 17 mm

Take advantage of the sky!

Similar to using an interesting foreground, if you have a beautiful sky, you can also use the wide-angle to take advantage of it. Fill 1/3 to ½ of your frame or full frame with the sky and the wide-angle will accentuate it because of the added sense of depth that these lenses create.

Here is a "Save The Date" concept we absolutely loved conceptualizing & shooting. How we did it?
Set your camera to Manual--> Set it to underexpose the scene in order to capture those dramatic clouds-->add off camera flash to your taste-->Click
P.S. The date text was added later in post using Photoshop.

Use Leading Lines

Leading lines is a technique used by the photographers to draw the attention of the viewer to its main subject. Before taking a shot look for the strongest lines you can see and then arrange all the other elements accordingly in your frame. Usage of fences, bridges, roads, buildings etc can actually help you in accentuating the angles.

Exif: NIKON D800, F-stop: f/4, Exposure time: 1/160 sec, ISO: 800, Exposure bias: 0 step, Focal Length: 80 mm

Leading lines can be used in any type of photography. The directional line in the below shot is strong and decisive, a very nice leading line for the eyes to explore the beautiful reflection.

Exif: NIKON 5100, F-stop: f/16, Exposure time: 1/100 sec, ISO: 100, Exposure bias: 0 step, Focal Length: 18 mm

Forced perspective

With the help of optical illusion, we can make an object appear farther away, closer, larger or smaller than it actually is. This technique is known as forced perspective and it is used primarily in photography, filmmaking, and architecture.

Exif: NIKON D3100, F-stop: f/5.6, Exposure time: 1/500 sec, ISO: 1600, Exposure bias: 0 step, Focal Length: 17 mm

Top it All!

Wedding ceremonies are chaotic but if you're trying to take photos at a busy event where there's a big crowd, you'll be able to shoot above them. It will help you avoid getting extra people's heads in shots and give you a great opportunity to get a general overview of the scene. Shooting from the top might offer a slightly alternative angle to the subject that is shot straight-on most of the time.

Bokeh Panorama

Most of us "Photographers" call this technique "Bokeh Panorama" or "Brenizer Method".Here is the deconstruction of this image:

- We chose the Bandra–Worli Sea Link as a backdrop for its urban and contemporary look.
- We took 81 individual shots and stitched them together to achieve this masterpiece.
- The chemistry between the couple made this shot an absolute magical one.

Angle The Light

If you want the light to produce an artistic flare, then it needs to be coming across your photo. Good lens flare depends on the angle of the light, which correlates with the time of day. Shoot in the evening with your lens flare coming from the side of your frame, perhaps using the rule of thirds.

Cross Culture Weddings

To showcase cross culture weddings there is no limit to creativity and this one is just a way to portray our couple’s love story and what culture they belong to and yet they have decided to be life partners forever.

Storytelling

Storytelling is timeless. In weddings, we get more opportunities to capture the story of the moment in one single shot. You’ve heard the phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” many times, right? As a photographer, I believe this is true when we dedicate ourselves to seeking out images that really tell a story.

Sometimes your story is in the details. When I photographed this ceremony in one of our wedding shoots, I realized I didn’t need to show the bride’s face to tell the story. Ultimately, I wanted to focus on this intricate process and all the action which was taking place behind. To capture the story, I just went ahead and focused on the detail which is related to the whole process.

Exif: NIKON D800, F-stop: f/4, Exposure time: 1/1600 sec, ISO: 400, Focal Length: 46mm

The below shot is from a Vidai ceremony where the bride bids goodbye to her family as she steps in her next phase. Her emotions combined with the reflection of her brother completes the story in one frame!

Reflections

We photographers use reflections only to elevate our creative skills. Basically to completely alter the image from something fairly straightforward to something richer or abstract or otherwise more artistic. Creativity and good-quality photos depend on the photographer being able to see things differently, rather than seeing only one part of a larger scene.

Here we have used the technique of reflection and have tried to capture the story of the two most important people for a Bride to make her look absolutely breathtaking on her D-day i.e. A Make-up artist and a good photographer.

Exif: NIKON D800, F-stop: f/2.8, Exposure time: 1/800 sec, ISO: 800, Exposure bias: -1 step, Focal Length: 50mm

Framing

Framing is simply using other objects in your photograph to frame the main subject. This is probably one of the easier composition techniques in photography. Framing brings more depth to the picture and a better focus on what the main subject is.

Here we have used a beautiful leaf to capture the ‘Love’ of our couple.

Exif: NIKON D810, F-stop: f/8, Exposure time: 1/200 sec, ISO: 640, Exposure bias: +1 step, Focal Length: 24mm

Eye for AN UNCONVENTIONAL backdrop!

This has been by far the most adventurous couple shoot of ours.  In the hunt of a perfect location we had found this stack of dried grass which we thought will perfectly act as a village backdrop which will be definitely amazing to look forward to.

Think beyond!

Being creative is nothing but looking beyond the usual. In the wedding of Akash and Kavita I got this opportunity to be a little experimental and try taking a shot from behind the Baraat instead of taking it from the front. And it did help me in getting one of my favourite Baraat shot from my collection.

Exif: NIKON D800, F-stop: f/3.5, Exposure time: 1/400 sec, ISO: 1600, Exposure bias: 0 step, Focal Length: 190mm

High Speed!

High speed is a technique that captures those moments which are too fast for naked eye to see like splendidly water splashing to breaking of glass to bullet piercing the bottle etc.
Here we have used the same technique to add a little drama in our ring shot.

Exif: NIKON D800, F-stop: f/4, Exposure time: 1/50 sec, ISO: 1600, Exposure bias: -1 step, Focal Length: 50mm
Wedding-ring-creative-shotWedding-ring-creative-shotWedding ring at a swimming pool.

Light Painting!

One more technique which is slowly gaining popularity amongst the wedding photographers is the Light Painting Technique. Its nothing but a long-exposure technique that utilizes in-frame or out-of-frame light sources to create patterns within the photo or illuminate an object in specific locations. If done in the right manner one can achieve a beautiful piece of art through this.
Here we have used the sparklers to give that creative edge to demonstrate the chemistry of the couple in love.

Exif: NIKON D810, F-stop: f/16, Exposure time: 2 sec,ISO: 400, Exposure bias: -0.7 step, Focal Length: 46mm

candid-wedding-photographer-Jaipurcandid-wedding-photographer-Jaipur

Motion Blur with Long Exposure!

To understand about the long exposure technique one has to be very clear with the basics first.  The technique is dependent upon  3 major components i.e. Exposure  that can be controlled with the sensitivity of the sensor (ISO), aperture of the lens (f-number) and the shutter speed. Longer the exposure times allows you to  capture clouds, water, or other moving objects in a smooth, flowing manner, while maintaining sharpness and clarity on still objects.

Long exposure can be used to create a bright photo in low light conditions or to create motion blur to the moving elements of the photograph.

London! Pune! Zurich! Bhopal!

London! Pune! Zurich! Bhopal! This couple's love story has travelled quite a few places before taking the final turn.  From being miles away to meeting again and again, destiny and love has played an important role in bringing these 2 souls together forever. Shreya & Nimish belong to the same college (MICA) and workplace (Cognizant) but the real time conversation began after a late night party over a Maggi session in Pune. How cool is that!
They dated for few months in 2013 and then Nimish left for Zurich for 4 months. They were completely on our own paths. But fortunately, that didn't work out and when Nimish came back, they got together.
So, it was destiny and divine conspiracy that got them together as none of this was planned.

A journey which started in an arranged setup but reached the beautiful destination of 'Love' in the very first 2 weeks. Gouthami and Swaroop, the born travellers felt the divine connection from the very first day as they had a lot in common and wanted the same things out of this life.
Their engagement happened in Hyderabad and the wedding ceremony was planned at VJR Convention Hall located in Kurnool - The city is often referred as ‘The Gateway of Rayalaseema’. Kurnool is around a 4 hrs drive from Hyderabad.
Now here we are who has been chosen by them to document this beautiful journey of theirs.

OUR VERY OWN MATERNITY SHOOT MODELLED BY 'US', SHOT BY 'US'! http://www.rohanmishraphotography.com/blog/2017/2/Maternity-Photographers-Chennai "Maternity photo shoot"Maternity-photographer-chennaiTransition of a woman during her pregnancy

As Rohan Mishra Photography we are pleased to announce that we are entering into another beautiful genre other than weddings and i.e. capturing and creating marvellous maternity moments. We have tried challenging our talent and taking it to the next level. Can't believe the day has finally arrived to announce that YES! WE ARE PREGNANT! and this time we have hired ourselves to both model and shoot. An idea which came as an experiment and transformed into a beautiful story. For a change, instead of always being behind the camera we decided to come in front of the camera and that too in our style. Really proud of being able to showcase this important phase of our lives in such a unique manner.

Photo by: Rohan Mishra Photography (www.rohanmishraphotography.com) Photo by: Rohan Mishra Photography (www.rohanmishraphotography.com) Photo by: Rohan Mishra Photography (www.rohanmishraphotography.com) Photo by: Rohan Mishra Photography (www.rohanmishraphotography.com) Though we are just the beginners as parents but we thought it will be interesting to share our feelings on this new phase of our lives:

Puja  –  Wow! What an experience!
Never thought it will be such an overwhelming one! It’s very important that I take this opportunity to defy a well known myth that a woman alone is pregnant. After living throughout the 9 months, I can definitely say that it's not just a woman's phenomenon. Your partner plays an equal and important role, as an expecting father as well as an individual, in living through the changes you are experiencing on a daily basis. I can proudly say that I couldn't have managed to come this far without Rohan's unconditional love and support.

Now comes the part for which we are known for... Our Photography, Our First Love. Celebrating motherhood through your husband's eyes is so exhilarating and fun. Yes, it’s very difficult to shoot when you are pregnant but it's worth all the pain and effort. These moments are something which I will cherish for a lifetime. Also I must admit that I never felt this beautiful and complete. The feeling of creating a new life and bringing it to the world is just phenomenal.
Rohan, your turn...

Rohan – Yes, I completely agree with Puja that a pregnant woman is not the only one who's expecting – there are two of you working on this 'beautiful change' together.  I have seen her change at every stage. From sleeping for countless hours in the first trimester to the change in her walking style because of the cute little baby bump in the second trimester and the feeling of the baby kicking in the third trimester is just out of the world. Of course I cannot describe it in words because some beautiful feelings should be left to experience. One thing which I would like to say to Puja is Thank you for making me experience this wonderful phase. All in all I HAVE ONCE AGAIN FALLEN IN LOVE WITH YOU!

Can't wait enough to see the little one out of that cute baby bump.

The Shoot: We conceptualized the complete shoot ourselves -  The locations, the lighting and the attire. Our D810 on a tripod acted as our photographer and we were able to pull off some great shots but this time being in front of the camera!

And finally the day has come when we saw our cute little angel 'Inaaya' for the very first time. And then the thought of extending this concept of 'Maternity Shoot' to document my whole 'Maternity Journey' came in. We couldn't stop ourselves from celebrating our love Inaaya!  And here is a quick glimpse of Inaaya in full glory.
