AARAMBH + RASHMI
Varanasi Wedding Photography | Puja Mishra & Rohan Mishra
Wow! What a wedding..high on drama...high on emotions... actually high on everything. The kind of excitement which was doing rounds for this wedding was just incredible. Aarambhh, the Groom left no stone unturned to fulfill his "would be's" dream wedding i.e. the set up should be completely in "Jodha Akbar" style. What a beautiful set up and the couple it was. Aarambhh who was dressed like Akbar and Rashmi was dressed like Jodha. Both of them complimented each other so well. And the cherry on the cake was Rashmi's shyness which uplifted each shot of ours. So beautiful and so pure!
Rashmi belongs to a Rajput Family where they follow the tradition of arrange marriage. She strongly believed that Marriages are "Made in Heaven" and thus she waited for her prince charming to find her ...
Kudos to this couple who is so diverse yet so together.
Day 1, the celebration started with Holi making it the most colorful wedding we have shot recently. Red, Blue, Green, Yellow... colors all around. .. All in all it turned out to be a photographers paradise.
The colours continued flowing even during the Haldi & Mehandi Ceremony of our beautiful bride. Then came the sangeet function.. fully loaded with Dance, Music & drama. The suit
Aarambhh wore a Designer Sherwani designed by his stylist friend Jafer Ali Munshi from Mumbai.
The lehnga was pure red in colour with Zardosi work. Rashmi took 3 months and visited all possible shops in Mumbai, Kolkata and Banaras and finally found what she wanted at Bombay Selection Shop in Carol Bagh New Delhi ... (Ironical ... a Delhi shop called Bombay selection) The make up
The wedding took place in Holy City, Varanasi and the best place known for make-up and hair is VLCC. They really did a good job. And here comes the Baraat..!! The royal entry of the Bride Groom in a unique "Jodha-Akbar" style. Simply stunning! The proposal
It all happened through Shaadi.Com ... something which they never thought works but it did ... The wedding theme/colours
The couple strongly believe that RED and GOLD are the auspicious colours of a marital life ... since Laal is related to Suhaag ... thus ... they insisted on keeping these colours as their wedding theme colours. The Wedding Rings ;-) On asking the couple about their favourite part of the wedding day, they happily said: "Our Candid photography session :) We blushed and how :)"
