Tamil Brahmin wedding at MCC Marriage Hall, ECR, Chennai - Harini & Aswin
Hosted in the charming city of Chennai, in Tamil Nadu, Harini and Aswin’s opulent multi-day wedding celebration was like a breath of fresh air all thanks to our lovely couple for their planning and the talented team of Pink Parrots (Event Planners) who with their creative insights and expert planning skills stunned everyone with the execution of exceptional decor.
Harini and Aswin met for the first time in 2021 and since then they have not got enough of each other. Harini, being the super organizer in the family, had planned her wedding so that each member of Aswin’s family felt so comfortable and welcomed.
The giggle which they shared on the most random thing was adorable. All in all, they are a very cute couple and a perfect match for each other.
Their fun-filled & energetic family and friends celebrated this multi-day extravaganza as if there was no tomorrow!
Their Mehndi event happened at Jalpaan Saligramam Restaurant with just close family members.
The next day was all about dance & performances – The Sangeet night where it started with some amazing dance performances by the couple, their friends & family followed by the crazy open dance floor!
Their pre-wedding rituals and the wedding itself happened at MCC Marriage Hall, ECR, Chennai.
Yes, it was a Tamil Brahmin wedding which started with Viratham, Janavasam, Nichayathartham followed by the wedding.

Our wedding took place on June 10, 2022. We wanted a good mix of traditional and modern and wanted to make sure some aspect of a colorful Boho style was included. We got that and more and couldn't have been happier.
Our major focus of wedding planning was having trusted vendors, planning this abroad. We were so lucky to have the team of vendors we had and appreciated that our families felt the same way. We had a devoted shopping trip where I went to Chennai for silk saree shopping in Kanchipuram and we matched Aswin's outfits online and closer to the wedding date. Grateful to have core memories of shopping for wedding jewelry and clothes with my extended family in Chennai whom I only see every few years.

As a US-based NRI couple, we’re extremely fortunate to have worked with Rohan, Pooja and team. They were an essential part of why our wedding was a resounding success—not only did me and my husband love working with them but so did our families, friends, and guests with whom Rohan’s team equally covered and showcased in the best possible ways.

We had our 3 day wedding at MCC Hall on ECR Road behind the beach and couldn’t have been happier with the management, venue, location, and more! Praveen is great to work with- accommodating, responsive, and willing to help any time you need. There was a beautiful outdoor space where we had our sangeet night. It’s a good mix of traditional & modern for the newer generation couples!

5/5 is not enough to express the outstanding, beautiful work Revathi did for my wedding. Her work was nothing short of excellent; she made sure to take in any specific requests I had along with creative hair & floral looks for each of my events. She preserved the natural look & matched the vibe of each event so well! Her uniqueness, creativity, and around the clock dedication is what makes her work stand out.

Pink Parrots - They surpassed our expectations on all aspects. From being innovative on the design aspect to offering valuable feedback as we tweaked through the design phase, we appreciated their eye for detail! They made it easy to communicate and go to them anytime we had questions which was key planning our wedding abroad.

Loved the eye to details on my mehndi! From adding details of our love story to being flexible on timing of applying mehndi during the event, she was a treat to work with. Nothing short of excellent!
Catering: Sri Vinayaga Catering
We had a local caterer and they surpassed our expectations of fusion food and our specific requirements to accommodate both our Indian and US guests! They individually addressed the our needs during and in between events and we're so glad we chose them for our event. Our families had worked with them for separate events in the past and it's been nothing short of exceptional.
